Dust Monitors for broken bag detection

The S100 series Dust Monitors are a cost-effective  dust monitors for broken bag detection and to give an indication of changes in dust levels from the gas flow. This robust and sensitive monitor can be used in duct sizes with a diameter up to 800 mm. The S100 is a real-time continuous dust monitor and will monitor for leakage or broken filters. S100 series is updated version of former Sintrol Snifter filter monitor series.

Working principle

When solid particles come in contact or close to an insulated probe they produce a charge to the probe. This phenomenon is then amplified and converted into a proportional signal to the dust concentration. The amplification consists of two signals: DC component occurs when particles come into contact of the sensor (traditional triboelectric signal) and AC signal is generated by particles coming into contact as well as passing nearby the probe. Through advanced algorithms and signal filtration Inductive Electrification provides a very accurate dust measurements output.
